Amidst all the suspense, shocks, and chills of this superbly made thriller stands the awesome performances of Sigourney Weaver and Holly Hunter. Ever since she pioneered the “female butticker” in the Alien movies, Sigourney has stretched her range to show the immense amount of talent she possesses. Her role as agoraphobic Helen Hudson is one of her finest; she lets us feel every nuance of her frustration, her terror, her anger, her intense ability to be strong even when she admits she’s weak. Matching her performance is the understated portrayal of cop M.J. Monahan by Oscar-winner Holly Hunter. Hunter’s bravura etching of this likeable cop is extremely effective in counterbalancing the tormented Weaver. Altough the fate of Dermot Mulroney as Monahan’s partner is questionably appropriate, it does serve as a motivating factor in Hunter’s pursuit of the serial killer. William McNamara’s performance as Peter Foley may seem underplayed, but it serves to hightem the normal-ness of this obviously demented young man. Like life, the good guys don’t always come out unscathed. The film is dark, brooding and its ending is chilling in that Harry Connick Jr. imprisoned psycho is obviously going to continue his quest for revenge on Weaver. A sequel would have been nice; I would have also liked to have had at least one scene with Weaver and Hunter after theexplosive ending. But, as far as thrillers go, this is a great addition to a small set of classics.

I was really happy to get this product at such a reasonable price. I paid about 60% less for the same product from Amazon than what was already on my HP computer as a 90 day free trial. After the free trial, Amazon was the answer. I am completely satisfied and would recommend everyone to get theirs from Amazon.

I picked this case up as my first (and only) iPhone case. I have young children, so durability and protection were the two main features I was going after. I needed something that looked good, protected my investment and was fully functional at the same time. I easily found it with the Otterbox Defender case.
Let me start by sharing the pros:
It is durable. I have dropped it, or had it dropped, off tables, couches and chairs onto hardwood floors, concrete and tile. After my heart starts beating again and I have the opportunity to inspect my phone, it always comes away unscathed.
Its easy to hang onto. I have shovels for hands, so this adds some girth to an otherwise small and slippery phone and makes it very easy to hold. (Any time I try and take the case off, I feel like its going to slip out of my hands.) The rubber is high quality and doesn’t stretch… I’ve removed and replaced the case dozens of times and there is no show of stretching from the rubber. It also doesn’t attract too much lint… although it does some, its easy to clean off without much effort.
Provides easy access to necessary ports. With the exception of one after-market car charger, I haven’t had a problem getting headphones, auxiliary cables, or chargers to fit into the ports without removing the case.
Now the cons:
Let me address the “oil-slick” issue. The built in screen protector is probably the biggest design flaw of the whole case. As much as I love it, this is why it has lost a complete “star” in my rating. If this weren’t an issue, even in light of the other cons listed below, I would have given the case a 5 star rating. I tried all the little tricks everyone mentioned when they have these issues with the screen protector, and nothing worked adequately to me. So, I cut it off. I had a screen protector on the phone already, so doubling up only was good if it were going to take a direct splash of liquid on the screen… which I will take my chances in avoiding. This m

Mildly competitive but without rancor! My wife of 52 years and myself are ball room dancers but get very little exercise beyond the Friday night dances. These games get us on our feet and moving while subtly trying to out perform each other. The motivation is still there to improve our scores and simultaneously our over all conditioning. Whether or not it will persist only time will tell.

Just so you know where I’m coming from, this vacuum was purchased to replace a 10 year old upright. My old 10 year old vacuum was working horribly. It wasn’t picking up anything and it was a total workout to use. Upon throwing it away, I ripped it apart to fit it into a standard trash bag and found out that the brush belt was broken, so the brush wasn’t spinning at all. Lesson learned, keep your vacuum properly maintained. Onto the new vacuum.
This new vacuum is extremely basic. And what I mean by basic is that it doesn’t have allot of frills; things like lights or indicators, like the more expensive models. I don’t really need any of that stuff. I just need a good working vacuum, and this fit the bill.
Putting it together was simple. Not too terrible. It was put together in less than 15 minutes. Again, once you put it together, you won’t be blown away. It’s extremely basic looking. What can you expect for $76.50, shipped?
I have three bedrooms and an office with carpeting. All the carpets are fairly new, about 2 years old.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this vacuum worked. There is no doubt that this thing can get the job done. The brush was really strong and helped facilitate in pushing the vacuum forward, made it an absolute breeze to vacuum all my carpets. It picked up anything and everything that was on the carpet. I’ve had it for over a month and I do the carpets at least one a week. Sometimes, I’ll just take it out to do a nice quick cleaning.
The brush on this is very strong. I have thick pile and you can hear the motor working when I set the brush low. I don’t want to work the motor too much so I raise the brush a little. The suction on this is very strong as well. The cord is long enough for me, no complaints.
I’m about to purchase an extension hose, bags and belts. The extension hose on this unit is not very long at all. Maybe 4-5 feet max? Maybe six. It just doesn’t seem long enough, the reason I’m buying an extension.
In closing, I

Sometimes you just need to go to the extreme – in this case it is really wide angle. In my old Canon film-camera days, I had the 15mm 2.8 fisheye which was an even bigger chunk of glass because of its speed.
Now that I have gone to the Pentax K100D camera, I was pleasantly surprised to see this 10-17mm lens was available. I was even happier because unlike the Canon lens, the Pentax is a zoom, so that not every shot has to be the distorted wide angle that you think of when you hear “fisheye”. The lens goes out to the equivalent of about 26mm on a 35mm format, which is a very useful focal length as well.
The lens also allows manually tweaking the focus while in the auto-focus mode – something my 2 Sigma lenses warn against.
The only drawbacks to the lens that I see are that you can not mount a filter and the curved front element is exposed (same for the Canon). So, just use a little caution. And, unlike the old Canon, there are no rear filters either. Finally, for those who like to manually adjust the aperture ring – there isn’t one. It’s all set through the camera
I could go on about the lens, but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ve posted a few photos in the Amazon collection.

Do you really love in Motion San Trolley ?
If you. like me, are hard on things this is your case. Also fits the bill if you have bigger hands. The 3GS to me is like trying to hold onto a small wet bar of soap in the shower. I needed something to hold on to and protect it against the inevitable drop. Well engineered case. Perfect size for me. My wife has small hands and found it manageable. She said it would work for her if she needed this level of protection.
Pros:
1. Excellent protection from dirt, falls, moisture etc.
2. Access to all ports and functions.
3. Good belt clip.
Cons:
1. Bubbles under screen protector.
2. Pain to take off and put back on.
3. Not much color selection.
If you are chasing style, forget it. If you enjoy outdoor activities or work, sports etc. it is indispensable. Not a case to remove frequently. I got an anti-glare screen protector and the bubbles disappeared and the view is excellent. I use the headset or bluetooth so I can’t address sound issues. I give this a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5!

If you are looking for a vacuum cleaner that is no frills, easy to assemble, and has a 12 amp motor…look no further. I was going to get a Dyson until I did the math and realized I could get 5 of these for the same price and put one on every floor of my house and have 2 left over. Tired of cleaning filters? Yeah, me too. This one has the easy disposable bag that changes in 60 seconds. The dirt & dust in my house doesn’t know it is being sucked up by a $79 vacuum cleaner versus the $500 Dyson.

The Kindle is great tech – a well-designed, efficient e-reader that’s easy to use and a pleasure to have. It’s incredible to be able to tote around a library on something smaller than a sheet of paper; the Whispernet features make previewing and obtaining new books a breeze … and the discount is fantastic! The Kindle is single-handedly egging me on to greater heights of paperlessness! The battery life is unreal – 2 full weeks or more of casual reading. WOW. For the price with the functionality and possibilities of the Kindle, this is the real deal in e-readers. It can’t be beat. I’m thrilled with my purchase.
