I graduated from Hi School in 1950. There are no words to describe how regimented the world was at that time. There were no rebels as models that was before James Dean & Elvis. The sterotypical girl were supposed to resemble Doris Day and the male be as stoic and jock like as possible to be accepted in that world so long ago. The movies were our role models very few had T.V. and T.V. was impossibly stupid in 1950. Even if we were unaware of our behavior we were attempting to emulate what we had seen on the screen. If you didnt fit the “Keep up with the Jones”
mentality you were an outcast. The phoniness and the superficiality of this decade is what makes “CATCHER IN THE RYE” so relevant today. I had heard about this book for years, never read it until my later years. This book is a monumental work of art that todays teenager can identify with even more so than in 1951 when the book was published.

I have been a heavy PC user for 10 years, however, my unique situation is that I travel with a full-function Netbook AND upgrade Netbooks often (and I am between purchases sometimes). This makes the work involved in maintaining a Touch simply atrocious. OK, so I’m rating iTunes for being so controlling WITHOUT the convenience of keeping my purchases on THEIR server.

Also, I had to send my new Touch in twice (yep, I’m on the 3rd unit) to get one that worked.

I am glad the I found this out before the iPad hit!!!
I look forward to the Acer 532G or Asus 1201PN.

Excellent product.

Note: If you use boiling water, check connections often as the hoses have a tendency to expand and leak.

While it seemed to work well at first, the router persistently gets into a state where it won’t give out DHCP addresses. Any devices I have that use static addresses seem to work fine and it maintains its wireless network and WAN connection, but anything that gets its address via DHCP is off the network.

This can happen any time from a few hours to a few days after it’s been powered up. Every time this happens I have to reset the router to get it to work again for my DHCP devices. And yes, I have the latest firmware for this router (as of January 23, 2010).

I’d return the router whence it came, but I ignored my own good habits and threw the box away right after I bought it. It’s now sitting on my basement shelf waiting for salvation, but at this point I’m not too confident about it. A little Google work will find similar complaints by other users, and this has been going on for a while.

“Through the Wild Heart of Mary” has affected me in a few ways: It has piqued my interest in herbs and has reconnected me with the Virgin Mother and the Rosary. I love the clarity of expression and the passion with which it was written. It has lots of information about herbs and the teachings of the Rosary, yet it is very concise. The wonderful artwork has such an innocense and is an added bonus to an already great book. Enjoyable and informative.

Cleaner worked better than the last cleaner we had, and got the carpet cleaner than when last done proffessionally. I did go very slow, however and used a Bissel cleaner at 1 1/2 times the strength recommended on the bottle. Very satisfied so far.

This has to be my ultimate favorite book and love the style, print and cover.

This is the best book I have read in years. It restores my hope that there are new authors who will become legends. You must read this book!
Cycle Force Group Adventure

While this book is written in an interesting writing style that keeps one hooked all the way through. It seems to pass off a very controlling, obsessive, and stalker type fellow as a caring love interest. Vampire or not, the way Edward watches Bella while she sleeps and often hurts her when he holds her arm seems to be an unhealthy obsession with the girl rather than true love. And Bella seems attracted to this alpha-male character which in real life would set her up for an abused wife situation. So, yes, the book is entertaining. But I hesitate at the style of passive aggressive infatuation that it promotes as love.
