Good product for the price. There’s a well placed handle for easy carrying and it’s not real heavy like many bagged models. The pedal for releasing the handle to angle is very easy to operate.

I have been using MS Office Products since they came out. This latest version is completely new in terms of menu options, short cuts, and functions available via the menu bars. I had to upgrade and I am relearning from the beginning (almost) how to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I would not recommend upgrading to this product. Plan on many many hours of learning if you do upgrade.

Ninety-year old Jacob lives in a nursing home where he spends most days parked in the hallway, waiting for Sundays when a visitor comes. He’s excited because a traveling circus has set up next door and he can’t wait to go. He flashes back to his youth during the Depression, when he was penniless and joined a third-rate circus as an almost-qualified vet. There, he fell in love with Marlena, the beautiful star horsewoman. Unfortunately, his boss was her brutish husband.
I absolutely loved this book. It contrasts the misery of being old and helpless with the non-stop action of life “on the show,” though that certainly had its share of misery, too. The pathetic circus Jacob joined was full of lively characters, some kindly, others cruel, and Jacob was forced to grow from naive youth to courageous man. There were many pages that reduced me to sobs, especially those detailing the agonizing despair of some nursing home residents and some instances of animal cruelty at the circus.
I would have given this book five stars, but I didn’t like that it was written in the first person (which immediately takes away some suspense as to the future of the narrator), and it was written entirely in the present tense which struck me as awkward. The story itself is engaging, exciting, touching, and rewarding. Highly recommended.

I bought this brush on Ebay for around $12 including shipping. A friend had recommended it. It is unbelievable! I cannot believe the amount of hair that comes out of my dog. It is almost like I am shaving her, but the comb is not cutting the hair. We have Rottweilers and their hair is medium length, very thick, and soft. It probably wouldn’t work as well on any breed. A couple cons…..you can’t use on wet hair and you have to use outdoors because it make a huge mess. Nice brush.

Joaquin Cortes is one of the most brilliant, charismatic and influential flamenco dancers of our time. His energy is powerful, mesmerizing, unparalel. After watching the first 10 minutes of the show, i felt a growing knot in my stomach stemming from incredible disappointment. It’s very difficult to spoil something as powerful as Joaquin Cortes to an admirer, and yet, it has been achieved in this version of his breathtaking performance.
I’ve read all the reviews of this DVD on amazon, and yet, i thought it was worth purchasing it, because my admiration and fascination with this performer is so great. His performance is undermined through the editing not worthy of Cortes’ caliber. You really don’t see much of his dancing, and you can’t appreciate his form to the full extent. It is my understanding that the camera should focus on the performer, instead of going from the strumming of guitar, to the cantaor and his microphone, to the red and yellow lights, back to the strumming of guitar, the overview of the stage and the close up of Joaquin’s face all the time while Joaquin is dancing!!!! You would think that since the intention of this show was to have a solo performance, the focus would be on its only dancer. Not quite, not quite.
To make the long story short, if you’re a devoted flamenco fan as myself, you’ll buy this anyway, no matter what anyone tells you, because you just have to have it. If you’re a nutcase like me, prepare to be greatly disappointed.
Live at the Royal
As a visually impaired individual I was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to change font size as well as column width. The text to speech feature is fairly easy to use and understand I do like the male voice better that the female voice. I founnd the Kindle a little thinner than I expected and also a little thick but once I purchased a silicone skin that problem dissapeared. I hope in future models that they add texture to the joystick.

Do not be lured in by the advertised $9.99 price. That was the price for most new books when I bought my first Kindle. Now new books are generally much more expensive than $9.99 so be aware of this before you buy a Kindle.
With that said I still like the Kindle very much but I personally will start buying more real books which I can sell, loan or donate after reading.

I have never read anything like this and I loved every page. Very few books have actually made me gasp in shock. There is so much about the traveling circus that is appalling yet intriguing at the same time. And who knows what is fact and fiction? Gruen blends the two beautifully. I am now really interested to learn more about this era of the circus. I read my copy in 3 days and have already loaned it out. Trust me, this is a good book! And so different from any story line I’ve ever read.

I procrastinated for a very long time on this purchase and as others have already pointed out, I now ask myself, why did I wait this long? Mind you, I’ve only used it for three runs totaling about 17 miles but thus far I think I can justify a very positive review. For me it was relatively easy to set up. I explored some options before my 1st use and set up a few screens to accommodate running. Cycling will be next. This may well become as indispensable a tool for my workouts and training as running shoes are to running or a bike to cycling. Being able to monitor pace, speed, distance, time, caloric burn, and heart rate adds a scientific basis for making adjustments to my training regimen. The Garmin Workout Center is a great way to track/review your workouts. I’ve yet to explore all the features available with the 305 and there are many such as programmed workouts for running and cycling. One recommendation though, be sure you charge the device well before using. It seems the battery does drain even when it is turned off.
Bottom line, if you are serious about running and or cycling, I don’t see how you can go wrong in purchasing the Forerunner 305. With pricing at approx. a buck and a half it is a bargain.
V7 High Yield Toner
We had looked at many carpet cleaner’s and compared them to each other. After reading comment’s left on various website’s, we chose the Hoover. It can be a tad tricky putting it together. It worked well on a pet stain we had as well as the carpet in our cottage. It’s interesting (or gross) to see the water, even when I thought our carpet was clean! A good price for a good product!
