Although I did not necessarily like the ending, the rest of the book was very well written. It kept me reading way past the time I should have stopped each time I picked it up. It’s easy reading and not particularly a long story. Enjoyed it very much.

Casio General Ladies Watches
I grew up in the 80’s when Casio’s were huge. Switched to Freestlye brand, then as I got older, switched to Nixon watches for night and Timex Ironman’s for casual/gym use. When I saw that they updated the G Shock and it came in white, I knew I had to have one.
This watch has all the great features of a classic G-Shock, but is stylish. The tide and moon functions are a plus and are fairly easy to understand once you’ve finished the initial set-up. I wear this watch to work, to the gym, and out at night. Love it!

I purchased this for my father-in-law for Christmas and I dont know for sure, but I thought I saw a tear in his eye for a second. The watch arrived with the time exactly right. (hence the automatic setting) It was very easy to figure out all of the functions and the entire watch had a plastic covering on it when it arrived to keep it from getting scratches during shipping. My father-in-law was very impressed that he doesnt have to change the time on the nights that daylight savings time goes forward or back. Having both analog and digital is also a big plus. This band is made for a big mans wrist although I am sure you can take links out if needed. We had to take just one link out and he is 6′2″ weighs about 260 if that helps. Large wrist. This makes a great gift and I would recommend it to anyone.

Sara Gruen delivers a readable tale that’s a tad too formulaic to be fully engaging. In the same way that the narrator of the story insists from personal experience that it is impossible to carry enough water to slake an elephant’s thirst, I’d insist that this container doesn’t hold enough water to satisfy a serious reader.
Also noted: the description of animals and animal behaviors is approximately cartoony, and takes away from the whole.
On the flip side, it is an easy read that won’t occupy more than an evening and Gruen does offer up some fascinating historical details about old-style railroad circuses, which altogether comes off as plausibly true.

i didnt really like this book. or any of the books in the saga for that matter … i read this book only because ihad about five people tell me that i needed to read it. i tore through it but then i realized the writing was a big pile of rubbish. this book and its collection are directed at screaming girls who love taylor and rob…. i say that anyone whos looking for a great mythical fantasy creatures should stick to the classics…
