I was still using Word 95 and this version is a whole diff world. No probs with setup. Appreciate new features such as inserting whold files into a MS. Recently took advantage of the upgrade to Office 2010 but that one has nt arrived and i’m starting to wonder about it.

I’ve had about a zillion pedometers. Finally I have one that works for me.
First, it works. I’ve had cheap pedometers that didn’t.
Second, it works in several places on your body. I’ve never had any luck clipping things on to my waistband; they fall off and break. This one I can clip under my clothing or put in my pocket. I can get to it easily and check my progress.
I had purchased a pedometer like these about 2 years ago, and having worn it daily, it simply wore out!…..We were so pleased with the pedometer that we decided to order two more-one for each of us. We love wearing pedometers because they make you aware of how many steps you are walking in a normal day in addition to the exercise steps and miles…. We are very pleased with this brand, the Omron! We find it is very much like their home blood pressure machines- very accurate. Thanks, Elaine

Mixed reviews held me back from reading this book for quite some time, despite my recent foray into juvenile literature. I have to say I have mixed feelings as well, though not for a lot of the reasons I’ve read (okay, people who say a 12-year-old criminal mastermind is just ‘too farfetched’ of an idea… did you notice the fairies and dwarves and trolls and the centaur? Oh, a 12-year old genius is too much to handle, but all of the fantasy creatures… no problem? Fiction, people… it’s fiction. If I wanted ‘real world’ stuff I’d just leave the house!). Mostly I had a very hard time picturing a lot of the creatures (specifically the dirt-eating unhinged-jawed dwarf) and didn’t have a great handle on the setting/technology/magic being described. But the action was good, and I did like a lot of the characters. So it gets a pretty middle-of-the road review, though I will read more in the series.

I got it faster than I expected and it was exactly as described. The ipod is working great. I can’t say anything bad about it other than the back scratches pretty easy, but a protective case keeps it in pretty good shape. I have a case and the back still looks awesome.

Overall the kindle is fast and enjoyable as an ereader, probably the best one in the market in terms or responsiveness and speed. But my big beef with it is it’s lack of a zoom feature when in regard to PDF files, the rotate button simply isn’t enough, also it be nice for it to come with either an expandable memory slot or a bit more memory for the sake of carrying audiobooks. But besides that when it came to purchasing ebooks and reading it was rather great.

Catcher in the Rye is quite simply an American classic. Its approach is unintentionally timeless, as Holden, and those he encounters, are as believable as characters come. I’m amazed that even in this digital age, college students can so easily relate to Holden’s situation and the angst he feels towards the world. Everyone goes through it, and that is why so many people (of all ages) love this book.
