Great product- I had no idea how much hair my cat was swallowing till I used this! It’s amazing and has cut down on shedding drastically. Just make sure you groom where you can vacuum later, because there will be A LOT of hair coming off =)

This product was above expectations for cleaning my carpets. I was experimenting with the attachment hose and through my own fault failed to secure the sliding plastic attachment piece down enough in the collection tank, but the machine worked just great on my stains when I fixed my suction problem. I used a 4 in 1 all purpose cleaner in the machine which is what I used on my hands and knees and found this machine did the job without buying the expensive recommended cleaners. Do a hand and knee sample test first. bleach products can cause additional staining and too many bubbles may ruin your machine so don’t use any detergents that foam up to much; don’t even try dish detergent it will stop this machine like it stops a dishwasher. Hey this is a do-it-yourself machine so if you don’t have a little common sense call a professional. I failed to believe all the reviews about leaks and was glad I did. If I made this Steamvac you’ld never get it for this price.

Keeping this up on the dashboard where I can clearly see the traffic at the same time as I see the GPS system is a life saver! I’ts always at a comfortable eye level and I don’t have to ignore the traffic to look down at it. It’s so adjustable and moveable that I wouldn’t ever want to use any other kind. If the hot sun glares in on the dashboard you can turn it in less than a second and have a better view of it. For the sake of safety ..,get it, you’ll LOVE IT!

A novel resurgence of an old romantic genre. Although vampires, themselves, don’t lend themselves to be endearing characters, Meyer successfully puts them into human-like conflict situations that we can all relate to. In a rare instance, the movie adaptation is better than the book itself because the subtle effect of black/white cannot be translated in a book. Skillful filmmaking on their part, all of which makes for a compelling series of adventures.

You get what you pay for. Got this as a Christmas gift for my wife who used it for the first time yesterday for our daughter’s 13th birthday. It was discovered that a shadow was present in all the pictures taken with this lens, starting from bottom center as if the hood cover was getting in the way, yet the shadow was there with or without the hood… then we noticed the dark picture when the lens was at full 10mm. I knew there was a hit and miss with this lens before I bought it, but now I wish I would of spent the extra $200.00 for a Canon.

I will admit I did enjoy this book, to an extent. It was the only book of the series that I enjoyed because it focused on their relationship. However she loses that focus and takes no risks in the series. So I have very little respect for Meyer’s writing, very very poor. My comments go much more in depth in the following book reviews because they get worse and worse in quality.

This is one big hunk o’ lens (5 lbs) that benefits greatly from the use of a sturdy tripod and a remote shuter release. The photos I took were acceptably sharp on a tripod, but it takes a steady hand, even with the OS, to get similar results hand-held. I’m not yet convinced that the OS, especially at the 400mm setting, actually gives you a 3-4 shutter speed advantage. Maybe this will improve as my technique improves. I was also suprised to read in the isntruction sheet that you must wait approximately 1 second after pressing the shutter release half-way to get a stable image. Is this common to all image-stabilization lenses? I was also somewhat confused by the OS instructions which call for OS 1 for camera shake, and OS 2 for subject travel accross the horizontal plane. Since the instructions also warn against using OS while the camera is on a tripod, this seems inconsistent with the stated use of OS 2. The HSM autofocus is very quiet, but sometimes has difficulty locking in on the subject. This is probably not much different from similar lenses of this type (I’ve read identical complaints about the Nikon lens). However; the all-the-time manual focus over-ride comes in very handy in those cases where the auto focus system is having a hard time. Having had the lens for just a few days I think that, for the money, it will fill my occasional need for a long telephoto lens.
