When I first started reading this book, It was all just words. As a high school senior, it was a little too difficult to understand, but after many class discussions ans “socratic seminars” I really started to understand it. This book is definately not my most favorite, but it’s also not my least favorite either. I won’t reveal the ending, but it is a really strong ending. “The Horror! The Horror!” are the last words spoken of Kurtz, and even though it’s the end of the novel, it still leaves the reader wondering about it.
Heart of Darkness Hesperus
I like the product but the seller advertised as it being new and it was obviously not. It came ghetto packaged and the headphones were obviously old. They were discolored and tangled up.
Cards To Your Heart
This book was really inspirational to a wife and mother such as myself. I am turning 30 years old this year and am struggling not to “lose” myself. This book just reminding me that I have choices and that I, with God’s help can have happiness and a sense of purpose in my life.
Inside My Heart Choosing
I am a HUGE fan of the Artemis Fowl books, but I saw this cover and instantly wondered why they would redo it. I think Artemis looks really creepy. Yes, I get that he is a criminal mastermind, but he makes me want to put the book down, not read it. I’m disappointed that Eoin Colfer let this happen. I just hope that the next book, The Atlantis Complex, won’t have this cover. And also, what’s with the logo? I hate this new cover!
Heart of Darkness
great capacity for the price. does take a long time to transfer this much memory through the USB though, be prepped for that.
My Heart in His
I liked everything about this book, but I especially loved the contrast between Jacob as a young man and his life as a 90 (or 93) year old. It’s one of those stories that older people tell that makes young people realize they need to sit down and talk with the elderly people they know, or this type of story is going to be gone forever. Jacob’s story of the circus and falling in love were so moving, but when you see what happens to Jacob as an old man, it is bittersweet. I was expecting the end to be much more of a downer – I thought the ending was very uplifting.
A Woman s Heart
I won’t go into a long review here– I read mostly non-fiction because fiction typically bores me. About 10-20% of the time, though, I like to switch to fiction to enjoy “lighter” reading than the non-fiction I typically read. I picked up Catcher in the Rye in a bookstore on a whim the other day. It really, really blew me away! I NEVER laugh out loud when I’m reading, and I must’ve literally laughed outloud several dozen times when reading this book. It was SO funny! And just brilliantly written, enjoyable to read, fun but serious at times, etc. Just a great book, a classic, and one that I should’ve read earlier in life (I’m 37 now). I will likely re-read it every few years just to remind myself how much of a page-turner it was…
Heart s Haven Pennies
I like this item. It stays on the dashboard with no adhesive. I was skeptical at first but this product works and very stable. I would recommend this item.
A Change of Heart
Thank you. This is a really great machine. I owned a Hoover Steam Vac for many years. The older model is still working but with a few bumps here and there. I decided time for new. This one is great. Glad I made this choice. Thanks much!
