I stopped using this device altogether because it can’t locate GPS satellites where I start my runs in New York City (Midtown Manhattan) due to the tall buildings.

I often found myself waiting and worrying about trying to get a satellite location rather than focusing on the actual run.

The included software for reading your GPS data is also antiquated and confusing.

The heart rate monitor function works very well, better than a cheaper Timex model I previously owned. But I’d rather have a standalone HRM with a smaller watch since the GPS doesn’t work for me.

Could be a fun product in areas with GPS reception.

This was a curiosity read. I don’t know enough about the topic to judge the merits of the book. Some of the detail is common knowledge, eating, health, etc.

Some of it is new(to me). The topic of liboproteins is rather in depth and kind of made my mind wander.

The self assessment and footprints might alarm many people. But it’s problem something most need to see.

I found the vitamin and fish oil discussions to be interesting as I didn’t know about such things.

The discussions on food was helpful as some things you would think are harmless are not.

If you are concerned about your heart, this is a great book for getting an understanding of such things. If you have coronary disease, this book is a must.

“Through the Wild Heart of Mary” has affected me in a few ways: It has piqued my interest in herbs and has reconnected me with the Virgin Mother and the Rosary. I love the clarity of expression and the passion with which it was written. It has lots of information about herbs and the teachings of the Rosary, yet it is very concise. The wonderful artwork has such an innocense and is an added bonus to an already great book. Enjoyable and informative.
