If you don’t want to ruin your vehicle with a suction cup holder this is what you need to buy. You can place it anywhere in your car. The bottom of the garmin portable mount seems to stick to about anything. I never had it move on me when I used it. I like to sit it down between my seats so it isn’t up by the windshield. And sometimes the passengers want to see where the next gas station or food place is, so they can just pick it up really easily and look at it. When they are done it can be placed right back to where I had it. Great product for anyone that doesn’t want to mess with the suction cup holders.

I have a 3rd generation iPod 20GB. I really have no complaints expect one major one. Apple needs to offer balance control (PAN) for those of us who may not hear equally well from both ears. It’s extremely ironic that Apple doesn’t offer balance control as Steve Jobs himself has hearing problems. Why Jobs hasn’t pushed for a prime directive for all Apple’s iPods/iPads/iTouchs/iPhones to offer balance control is so beyond me. There is a huge market for people with hearing problems who want to balance the sound coming out of either headphones.
This is the best brush we have found for our dog. It works well with our large breed dog. Paid much less than any store we found.

Hey,
I know that there are a ton of reviews on this thing. This one is for the non techy AARP’s. I’ve had my Touch for a month now. I bought it to replace a Dell pocket PC that I used for my GPS and to carry around some medical programs I use at work. The touch opened a whole new world of podcasts to me. It does all the stuff I need at work, but in addition when I’m in the car I can play podcasts instead of using the radio. The interface with i tunes on my PC is very easy. I also enjoy carrying around all the photos that are on my computer that have been magically transfered to the touch. I can show off my grand chidren to an ever widening audience. I can’t get and Iphone for a bunch of reasons and this thing hooks up to wifi hotspots easily. It has issues with my home wireless, but that is moot since I see now reason to use it in that mode at home. Finally, I’ve dropped it a couple of times and it is none the worse for the trauma. Don’t let the $300 pricetag deter you. This thing is worth its weight in gold. Roger.

Still exploring, but enjoying its various capacities a lot. So far, I recommend it highly. It’s powerful, fun to use, and so small you can have it with you always.

Kubrick’s films, as a rule, defy the rules. It’s safe to say that you cannot show nearly ten minutes of raw establishing shots at the onset of a film. It’s equally safe to say that series of abstract images and colors are a big no-no in a would-be mainstream, commercial film. Kubrick could give a rip. The essence of the film which makes it so fascinating is its willingness to play loose with the “rules.” Space Travel is fast-paced and exciting, right? Kubrick’s stroke of genius is to make a movie which is slow-paced and, to be honest, boring to explore the transformation of a society which is itself slow-paced and boring. Mankind is shown at its most mundane, making phone calls, dozing on long trips, jogging to stay in shape. Into this world is tossed an odd supernatural force, an injection of the divine, which literally speeds up the course of Dave’s life and transforms him into… something wonderful. Kubrick doesn’t need to be interesting. His boring movie is pointed right at every one of us, threatening us to take an odyssey into the cosmically divine.
