i looked around while deciding what vacuum to buy. After reading the reviews and the Consumer Reports review, I figured this was worth a shot–I was NOT disappointed. This vacuum works just as well as those 4 times the price, and I am very happy with the purchase. Definitely recommended!

I have this friction mount for my GPS. Last Christmas I purchased a Garmin GPS for my wifes vehicle. This mount wasn’t available so I had to get the other Garmin friction mount. I gave it away and now my wife & I have the same mount. This one is better than the other Garmin friction mount.

I just returned mine today. Bought it and installed late afternoon in my home office. Almost immediately, I smelled the horrible toxic plastic or who knows what odor. After 3 hours of me working in my home office, my eyes became severely irritated and I developed a light headache. My whole house was suddenly filled with this noxious odor. The following morning, I immediately unplugged it and returned it. I don’t know if this was a defective unit but some people have complained about the odor and irritated eyes.

My 16 year old daughter loves the product, and her parents enjoy it as well. Just kind of bulky and we have storage issues.

After just a few hours I am contemplating sending this back. Imagine, carrying many reference books with you at all times. A dream.
PROS:
It is a wonderful device and I am sure it is excellent for serial reading (novels, etc.)
The screen contrast is amazing. It really does look like paper. It is small and light.
CONS:
My big need was for quickly getting around reference documents and it is horrible for that.
I suppose this is a review of content more than the device, with little to no linking.
There is a search function but not very impressive.
It takes so long to find something I am not sure it is worthwhile.
I didn’t open it yet, it is a gift .Hope my friend will like it
Tripp Lite PV 700HF
i was in the market for a carpet cleaner that actually does what it’s supposed to. Based on amazon reviews, and a consumer reports magazine article, I chose this particular model. I am very glad I did. I used this on berber carpet that was installed 3 years ago, and never been steam cleaned. I have 3 dogs(and the accidents that eventually happen), 2 kids and a husband that refuses to remove his shoes after coming in the house. I was skeptical that this machine could clean up the dog urine stains, and dirt stains that had worked into the carpet. Well I was wrong! I couldnt believe the dirt that came out of them! My carpets not only LOOK clean, they smell better now too!
And the Hoover was easy as pie to work with. The key to getting the most out of this machine is from the old Aesop’s fable- slow and steady wins the race! Take your time going over the carpet, and you will see a great difference. I have only used this Hoover once so far on my carpets, and I know after using it more I will notice an even better difference.
