Walsch spends years writing down questions about religion and God on a legal pad. Out of the blue God starts answering them. It becomes quite complex at times. It’s just nice to see people are interested in what God has to say in this day and age.
If you’re so inclined, and want to read the messages God gave to a man who prayed 1,000,000 prayers than you definitely want to read this Great new book I found about faith, Jesus, God’s message and what we will do in the after-life entitled “The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone,” by John H. Eagan. It’s really fantastic and the message from God is just amazing. I think the readers of Walsch’s book will really enjoy The Enlightenment. I can’t recommend it enough!

Many often take one verse and build an entire belief system around it without any sense of context or application.

This book however, goes one better. A better title would be, Talking with Satan…
If there were ever a bastardization of God’s Holy words and their meanings…this book is it.

For instance (and I paraphrase), when a girl asks the question “Why am I a lesbian?” His answer is that she was ‘born that way’ because of genetics (just as you were born right-handed, with brown eyes, etc.). Then he tells her to go out and “celebrate” her differences.

Another girls poses the question “I am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?”

His reply is, “Who are you sinning against? Not me, because you have done nothing wrong.”

Another question asks about God’s forgiveness of sin. His reply “I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive.. There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone, do not judge people. People have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong, because the rule is “‘judge not lest ye be judged.”

So, as my title ask…Are your ears itching..I take that from the following scripture which warns us of this very thing being offered up as something from God.
2 Timothy 4:3……”For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.”

Well, you are wrong. The book I read was Artemis Fowl. This book is about a boy named Artemis Fowl, who tries to kidnap a fairy and demand a ransom. He kidnaps Captain Holly Short, a recon officer. Her superior, Commander Root, sends an LEP (Lower Elements Police) retrieval team to try to rescue Holly. Butler, Artemis’ bodyguard, is there to meet them. That is when things get a bit crazy. Trolls start breaking in. A dwarf starts digging his way in. There’s more…

I like this book, because of two reasons. First, the author really described the characters and the setting. Second, because he uses a lot of foreshadowing in the story. That is also bad, because he doesn’t tell you right away what Artemis’ plans are. But that is also good, because they leave you thinking “What is his plan?” If you are interested in magical creatures, kidnapping, magic, and series, then pick up this book and don’t put it down until you finish!

We’ve given one to our friends on several occasions, and many in our exercise classes wear an HJ-112 during the time we are on our spinning bicycles! These are great for people in various degrees of rehabilitation, too, where walking is prescribed. Case in point: A relative of ours just had open heart surgery; he now proudly wears his pedometer every day…and is amazed how it motivates him to really enjoy walking!!! I am a backpacker, and I wear my pedometer on all my trips. It’s amazing how accurate this nifty electronic device is; and it’s nice knowing how far I’ve hiked to my lake-destination!!!

I experienced stress while reading about Skeeter’s difficulties when she forgot the red brief case, and the fear she experienced when it was found by her friend. I could feel her distress and her fear. This book has a powerful message, until you walk in someone’s shoes you cannot know what their life is like, and there but for the grace of God go I. The best book I ever read.

It is a teenage romance novel where the object of Bella’s obsession just happens to be an unconventional vampire. (Snark Alert! If Bella had more life experience, she would know Edward’s behavior is much more frightening than his vampirism.)

Meyers does a really excellent job of capturing the thrill of smoldering glances, flirting, first kisses, first love. Will this story stand the test of time? I have no idea, but I think it probably will. Edward can’t hold a candle to Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights) for creepiness, and women have been crazy about him for centuries.

I thought the $250 plus I spent would be worth it. However, Amazon has broken it’s promise and charges more. When buying the physical book I could share it, etc. -now I can’t, but the lower price was worth it.
Amazon has enough buying power and for them to say the publishers are in control is not true. I hope that Amazon understands that this break in trust from its customers will cause a long term problem.
I wonder if they will publish this?
